A number of cultural events and activities take place in the area, which are organized and carried out buy local people and especially buy the youths in close co-operation with the cultural union of Angairia. Their aim is to make the cultural wealth of the villages Aliki, Agkairia, Kamari and Voutakou, none to the foreign and local guests.Summer visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the following events..

Revival of Ai Giannis Klidonas' old custom at Aliki's sandy beach.The youths jump over stucks of burning May Day wreaths, while musicians play local songs with traditional musical instruments. People dance and sing around the fire.Tsipouro (original local Greek ouzo) and octopus on the coal offered by the cultural union and the locals.
"Fish festival" Right on the beach of Aliki locals and guests are entertained with folkloric music and dances, local traditional music and songs. People dance and sign till early morning hours. Fried fish and wine offered by the cultural union and the locals. All year round: Painting, local dance and music lessons provided by the cultural union.
Mid.August: Bazaar of local agricultural products and handicrafts. Book's exhibition. June-September: Performances by local theater groups, shadow theaters, concerts local artist's exhibitions, painting and photo exhibitions. Paros local products
